about DARI®

It is important that all raw milk (right from the cow) has been heated to a specified temperature in order to kill off any microorganism such as bacteria, that may be found in the raw milk. By law, all milk sold to the public must be pasteurized and packaged in a licensed dairy plant.

The USDA recommends at least three cups of milk a day for adults and children age 9 and older.

So a calf is baby. A heifer is a female cow that is one or two years old, and has never given birth to a calf. All cows are female, over two years old having at least one calf.
